Health Support
The Shepherd’s Center provides monthly blood pressure and blood sugar checks, along with a variety of annual screenings offered at Adventures in Learning sessions in cooperation with area hospitals and health agencies.

Other ways we provide health support include:
- Offering a Vial of Life, a container that allows you to have important medical information stored and is easily accessible by first responders.
- Providing information on the Kansas City Kansas Fire Department Ambulance Membership Program.
- Promoting healthy aging activities provided by the KU Landon Center and the K-State Research and Extension.
