The Shepherd’s Center of Kansas City, Kansas, is a welcoming interfaith, multicultural nonprofit dedicated to supporting and celebrating successful aging. Serving more than 1,200 people in Wyandotte County, we offer a variety of services focused on health, enrichment, education and home assistance.

Our programs and services
Shepherd’s Center provides multiple services for older adults living in Wyandotte County, focusing on health enrichment, education and home services. These programs and services include:
Adventures in Learning
A monthly learning series held at Grace Lutheran Church (3333 Wood Ave, KCK) on the third Friday of every month.
Creative Classes
Classes that focus on the arts, life skills and special interest topics.
Health Screenings & Classes
Monthly blood pressure checks, and monthly and weekly exercise opportunities.
Vials of Life
A program that provides important information for medical personnel in the event of an emergency.
Minor Repair & Referral Services
Volunteers help with minor home repair for older persons.
Health Support Lunch & Learn Series
Lunch and learn events providing important health information for older adults.
